How it works

Call us

Tell us what changed: a new job, a move, a new baby, or just Open Enrollment. Takes about two minutes.

We check what you qualify for

A licensed Florida agent confirms whether you can enroll now and whether you qualify for financial help based on your household income.

Compare and enroll on the same call

We go through Florida Blue plans that fit your doctors, prescriptions and budget, and handle the enrollment with you.

Can I enroll right now?

During Open Enrollment, yes. Anyone can enroll from November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1.

The rest of the year, you can enroll within 60 days of a qualifying life change, such as losing job-based coverage, moving to Florida, getting married, having or adopting a baby, or turning 26 and coming off a parent's plan.

Who we help

Outside Open Enrollment you need a reason to enroll. These are the most common ones.

Lost your job or coverage

Losing employer coverage opens a 60-day window. COBRA isn't your only option, and a Marketplace plan with financial help often costs less.

Just moved to Florida

Plans are sold state by state, so your old plan likely won't cover routine care here. A permanent move usually lets you enroll within 60 days.

Turning 26

Coming off a parent's plan counts as losing coverage, so you can get your own plan without waiting for Open Enrollment.

Married, new baby, or divorce

Getting married or having or adopting a baby opens a 60-day window, and a newborn's coverage can start from the day they arrive. Divorce counts if it ends your coverage.

Went self-employed

Leaving a job with health coverage counts, even when it was your choice. Financial help is based on the income you expect this year.

Just want a better plan

Open Enrollment, November 1 to January 15, is when anyone can enroll or switch. We'll compare your options.

Open Enrollment runs November 1 to January 15.

What Florida Blue Marketplace plans cover

Every Marketplace plan covers the ten essential health benefits, including doctor visits, emergency care, hospital stays, prescriptions, maternity and newborn care, mental health care, and preventive care such as checkups and screenings.

Plans are grouped into metal levels:

A pre-existing condition can't be used to deny you coverage or charge you more.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enroll in Florida Blue any time of year?

No. You can enroll during Open Enrollment, which runs November 1 to January 15, or within 60 days of a qualifying life change such as losing coverage, moving, getting married, or having or adopting a baby.

Is it too late to get health insurance for 2026?

Open Enrollment for 2026 coverage has closed. You can still enroll for the rest of 2026 if you've had a qualifying life change in the last 60 days. If you haven't, Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027.

How much is health insurance in Florida?

It depends on your age, ZIP code, household size, income and the plan level you choose. Many Floridians qualify for financial help that lowers the monthly premium. An agent can give you your real price in a few minutes, at no cost.

Do I pay anything to use an agent?

No. Agents are paid by the insurance carrier. The price of a plan is the same whether you enroll with us or on your own.

How long do I have after losing job-based coverage?

You generally have 60 days after the coverage ends to enroll. You can also apply up to 60 days before it ends, which helps you avoid a gap.

Can I stay on my parents' plan after 26 in Florida?

Federal law lets you stay on a parent's plan until 26. Florida law may let some young adults stay on certain Florida-regulated plans longer, up to the end of the year they turn 30, if they meet specific conditions, such as being unmarried with no dependents of their own. An agent can check your situation.

I'm already a Florida Blue member. Can you help me?

This service is for people enrolling in a new plan. For billing, claims or doctor questions, call the number on the back of your member card.
